Imagine for a moment a land where the possession of an English Bible was forbidden. Anyone caught carrying such propaganda was imprisoned and then burned. This land was not in a state of communism, but rather its people believed in God and sought out heretics in God's name. Where and when did this land exist? From this spiritual darkness arose a few men who risked their lives believing it was necessary for the people to read the English Bible in their native tongue. This book traces the history of these men and their works.
